Batenburg contributes to Europe's largest hydrogen plant

For the construction of Europe’s largest green hydrogen plant, Holland Hydrogen I at the Tweede Maasvlakte, Batenburg Techniek is supplying crucial components to ensure reliable energy distribution.

This plant, developed by Shell, features a 200 MW electrolyzer that produces up to 60,000 kg of renewable hydrogen daily, powered by wind energy from Hollandse Kust Noord. The hydrogen is transported via pipelines to the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Rotterdam, where it partly replaces grey hydrogen, contributing to more sustainable fuels.
